Support provides processing support to Citibank clients as well as our
Financial Centers. This includes processing transactions, researching and resolving key items, etc.
Operations Support is comprised of the following:
CitiBusiness (San Antonio)
The CitiBusiness organization is responsible for several functions including new loan
setup on all CitiBusiness credit products. From a service perspective, employees are also responsible for
account openings, closeouts and maintenance of all CitiBusiness liability products, and several additional
functions.
CitiBusiness Credit Center (St. Louis)
The CitiBusiness Credit Center manages credit applications processing for the Small and
Micro Business segments of the Commercial Markets Group. Employees provide loan consultation servicing for new
requests as well as all credit related servicing of our existing portfolio which consists of over 25,000
accounts.
Client Activation (San Antonio)
The Client Activation Unit is responsible for processing all liabilities/unsecured asset
accounts that are generated by various Citi - San Antonio business units. Employees have the responsibility of
ensuring that all accounts activated are in compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal standards.
Client Research (San Antonio)
The Client Research team is responsible for the research and resolution of client
inquiries on consumer, business, retirement planning, credit, and/or bill payment accounts. Employees within
Client Research perform enrollment, maintenance, and fulfillment functions for Bill Payment, CitiBusiness
Online, and Quicken relationships.
Client Support (San Antonio)
Client Support provides operational support to Citibank, including the San Antonio
organization, as well as the Financial Centers. Employees in Client Support are currently responsible for
over 50 separate functions ranging from basic account maintenance to PIN resets, Consular Letters, Savings
Bonds, etc.
Operational Accounting (San Antonio and St. Louis)
Operational Accounting provides financial processing support to several units throughout
the business. Some employee functions include responding to incoming clearance clerk envelope charges,
generating outgoing clearance clerk charges, posting account transfer requests, debiting client accounts for
various fees, posting adjustments to client accounts, and clearing physical checks. The Unit is also
responsible for product processor reconcilement and proof processing.
Production MIS (St. Louis)
The Production MIS / Financial Management Group supports dual site operations through
the development and analysis of various reports. Employees provide data analysis, database application support,
historical trends, and statistical trends for the production units and in support of the business initiatives.
Retirement Plan Services (San Antonio)
The Retirement Plan Services Department services traditional IRA's, Roth IRA's, SEPS,
Profit Sharing and Money Purchase Keogh Plans. Employees are responsible for both financial and non-financial
maintenance on 700,000 accounts, representing approximately 500,000 retirement plans.
Servicing (St. Louis)
The Commercial Loan Servicing Department services multi-family and commercial real
estate loans as well as business and professional facilities. Employees handle all of the servicing for the
loans from insurance and escrow to collections and annual reviews.
Strategic Implementation (St. Louis)
Strategic Implementation is responsible for coordinating key projects for the operations
units. Employees are involved in the development of strategy, management of detailed project task plans,
documentation of issues and delivery of comprehensive support of all units.
Transaction Services (St. Louis)
The Transaction Services Unit supports several business units with the processing of
functional transactions. These transactions range from foreign and domestic check collections, third party
mail deposits, to account closeouts.
