Remote Services provides the complete relationship experience for Citibank's clients. Our responsibilities
extend from the basic balance request to complicated technical inquiries. We are committed to servicing and
identifying referral/sale opportunities in order to provide the best customer service. Remote Services is
comprised of numerous functional units. Each unit has its own specialty service and subsequent promotional
opportunities. The following are the Remote Service's units:
Core/ SFA / Citiphone
The Core/ Success For All (SFA) and Citiphone units service our clients basic needs.
Employees support service escalation from the Financial Centers in addition to other inquiries such as account
linking, card replacement, account servicing, etc. Typical jobs in this unit may include Financial Associates,
Teams Leaders, or Subject Matter Experts (SME’s).
Internet Services (INS)
Internet Servicing is responsible for processing and supporting a variety of on-line
product applications. INS handles customer inquiries and resolves customer issues for several on-line
products. Typical jobs in this unit may include Financial Associates, Teams Leaders, or Division Leaders.
SSB Online/ CitiBusiness
These businesses service business and professional clients that range from sole
proprietors, single stockholders, to multi-million dollar corporations. Employees in these areas are trained
specialists with the knowledge and tools necessary to perform routine service transactions and assist the
special needs of clients.
Special Services Unit
Special Services Unit is comprised of two specialty teams, Foreign Language Unit (FLU)
and Client Relations. FLU supports Spanish and Chinese-speaking clients. The Client Relations team is tasked
with servicing problem escalation deriving from other units. Typical jobs in this unit may include Financial
Associates, Teams Leaders, or Subject Matter Experts (SME’s).
CitiGold Services Operations
CitiGold Services provides banking, brokerage, and credit servicing for National
CitiGold clients. Employees are tasked with customer service, trading, account processing, operations, and
help-desk functions. Many employees in this unit will have a NASD Series 7 license & and are trained on a
wide array of products and services.
Salomon Smith Barney Stock Plan Services / Equity Compensation
These businesses service employees and businesses regarding stock option grants,
capital accumulation awards, and various stock plans. Typical services issues include plan specifics, grant
schedules, grant and award amounts, and vesting schedules. Associates also provide support to customers
concerning eligibility requirements and trades.
Primerica Financial Services (PFS)
Primerica services Smith Barney mutual fund clients and Primerica Life Insurance
customers. Associates assists clients with a variety of options ranging from account value requests, to
the processing of requests to sell or exchange mutual fund shares. Some associates are also trained to
assist agents in the field.
Retirement Plan Services (RPS)
Retirement Plan Services assists clients with inquiries and maintenance of their
retirement accounts. RPS handles traditional and Roth IRA's as well as qualified employer plans. RPS
associates also handle calls from Financial Center financial executives who work with clients face to face.
